Aspidistra Elatior is an evergreen, rhizomatous perennial that has glossy, green, lance-shaped leaves that are up to 50cm long.

It just about the toughest plant on earth, there is a reason it is named the Cast Iron Plant, it thrives on neglect. With its Aspidistra can survive & thrive in rooms with only artificial light or no direct sunlight. It can go weeks without water and requires no maintenance. It is also popular for its air-purification properties. 

It can be mass planted in a large planter box or used as an individual potted specimen. New shoots will rise up through the soil, increasing the density of the foliage, however it is a very slow growing plant.
